Words from our Managing Principal, Michelle Dawson

After more than 25 years of working in law firms, going from being the most junior employee to being one of the most senior partners, I decided to create Emplawyer.

For me, the “why?” was this: what really matters in what lawyers do is the client. Yet somehow, that seems to get lost in the composition and business models of so many law firms. I wanted to do it differently.

Emplawyer is about clients first. We are all about understanding our clients, their businesses and their goals, so that we can partner with our clients toward their ideal outcomes.

Employment law is what we do, and we do it well. As the Managing Principal of Emplawyer, after almost 20 years of practicing exclusively in this space, there is very little I haven’t seen or helped a client through before. Since 2012, I have been an Accredited Specialist in Workplace Relations.

When you partner with Emplawyer you can be sure that you’re getting genuine relevant experience and technical expertise, as well as value for money and a genuine care for you, our client, without compromise.
